Cancelling his visit
Evening fell, and Gavin was enjoying his dinner. He was supposed to go to his father, but he canceled at the last minute. He didn’t want to deal with his father’s grumpiness. He knew he would be appreciative in the long run; he just had to get used to it. So, Gavin decided he would wait a few days before seeing his father.
