“You will regret this,” his father angrily said as he was escorted to the van. Gavin didn’t say anything back. He wasn’t a heartless guy; he loved his father, but his greed prevailed. “I’m sorry, Dad,” he said again as one of the men closed the van door. His father started silent, never taking his eyes off his son. “I’ll see you tonight!” Gavin yelled as the van drove away.
