Jeff and his German Shepard Max spotted the particular tree on an exploratory hike. They were new in town and were wandering around the surrounding forests to learn more about the area surrounding their home. Jeff had done some online research before buying the place, but there was nothing like physically being there to get a true sense of the beauty.
