Jeff was shocked by his dog’s behavior; it was completely unlike him. It was also quite dangerous since they had never been in this area before. Without knowing his surroundings, Max could be in some real trouble. What if he got lost, or what if a busy road was alongside the forest? If Max was this restless, he could easily cross without looking and get hit by a car.
