“Wait for me!” she still shouted as she tried to follow its quick pace. The sewer tunnels smelled awful and the narrow path beneath her feet was slippery, slowing her own pace significantly. So as she herself manoeuvred around the corner where she saw the the dog last, she lost all sight of him. “Where are you?!” Annie shouted. But she got nothing but silence in return…
