Adrenaline took over, as Annie rushed over to the blockade. She pulled on the branches with all her might and she managed to remove most of the blockage. But she was then met with strong iron bars that prevented her from going any further. But at that moment she did see what the dog was leading her to. A nest of young kittens where piled up in a corner.
