The butcher’s call
It was the butcher she called earlier. He saw the missed calls and had noticed that his dog was gone longer than usual. He asked Annie if she had seen him, and Annie told him about the heroic actions of his furry friend. The butcher couldn’t believe it. He was so proud. But before everything was well, there was one more problem that needed to be solved.
