Tall grass
Quickly, Robert looked around to see if he could see the foal sticking out somewhere above the grass. But all he could see were miles of tall grass. He knew that a foal in distress would lie down on the ground, that way, it would be less likely to be found by a predatory animal. Robert did his best to follow the faint whining of the animal.
