It made sense that Luna would be pretty distant from human beings. As a cub, she was used to entertaining tourists in a vacation resort, and was treated badly. When the zoo rescued her from this situation, she was already traumatized. She wouldn’t let anybody go near her, except for Samuel. For some reason he filled up a special place in her heart.
