Perfect habitat
Kristina Killgrove said the wood and oils inside the tree had provided a perfect habitat for the mummified dog. Normally, even a dog that has been embalmed would quickly decay in the open air, but the inside of this tree preserved the dog extremely well. But what’s next for this famous dog? Opinions are still divided about the dog’s future.
