Holding breath
Linda felt a knot in her stomach, thinking that she might have lost Marvin forever. But then, slowly, Marvin approached her. Was he going to recognise her? Or was he going to be aggressive, just like the staff members predicted? Everybody attending was holding their breath and the caretaker who let Linda in was standing by with his key still in the door, for when things went south.
