Jake continued, “He was in America for a short while for work, and during his stay, he fell very ill. He almost lost his life and had to return home for treatment. And that’s when he met my mother. She was a nurse and helped him through his recovery.” George listened with wide eyes, each word adding weight to his suspicion. “They fell in love and had a brief relationship,” Jake carried on.
