Carol’s reaction
“He’s Adam’s son.” Carol stood there, shocked and silent. Tears started welling up in her eyes. “I knew it,” she said quietly. “I just knew it.” She sighed as she stood up to get some tea. They spent the rest of the day discussing the past and what to do next. Carol pondered how it would be to see him again after all these years. But things wouldn’t go as they expected.
