George left to give them space to catch up. When her brother was gone, Carol demanded an explanation for Frank’s sudden departure. Frank looked at her with immense regret, and he started to explain he had made a terrible mistake by adopting his brother’s identity. When his family found out, they broke contact, and he was afraid Carol would do the same, so he did it himself to avoid any more pain.
