“We’re not alone”
Making his way back to Lisa and Samuel, James’ heart pounded in his chest. He was filled with an odd mix of fear and exhilaration. When he returned, he found Lisa hugging Samuel tightly, her eyes still wide with fear. “What was it?” she asked him. James didn’t say anything at first, but then he replied with a whispering voice: “We’re not alone.”
