Shelter
The trail led them to a slightly worn path, obscured by thick undergrowth. Suddenly, the footprints stopped. They halted abruptly at the entrance of a small, makeshift shelter hidden in a depression within the forest floor. The shelter was a crude construction of rocks and twigs with a leafy canopy for a roof. It was unpretentious, hidden, and yet the signs of habitation were obvious.
