A Strange Relic
As she gently pried it loose from Lily’s hair, the strange object finally came into full view. It was a small metal disc, about the size of a coin, inlaid with strange symbols that none of them recognized. Its surface was shiny and surprisingly clean, considering it was buried in a teenager’s hair. It shimmered in the bright salon lights, capturing everyone’s attention with its unusual features.
