Unseen lands
Chirping crickets, the distant hoot of an owl, the rustling of unseen creatures in the underbrush. It was a different world, teeming with life yet carrying an undercurrent of uncertainty. They navigated through a labyrinth of towering cypress trees, their gnarled roots stretching into the murky water. Spanish moss hung like ancient draperies from their branches, swaying softly in the evening breeze.
