“Mom, Dad. I don’t ever want a dog again. They first love you and then run away and leave you!” Tom screamed with tears running down his face. He took a long time to step foot in the backyard again. It was heartbreaking to see their son like that. The only thing they could do was comfort him. Tom remained sad for a while, but eventually, he started acting like a typical young boy again.
