High pitch
The growl caused chills to go down his spine. It was low and sounded dangerous. Hesitantly and carefully, Tom turned toward the sound. What was it? He tried to make no noise as he approached but stumbled and bumped into the fence. The growl suddenly changed into a high moaning noise. Like the sound, an animal in distress would make. Curiosity overtook Tom’s body as he rushed toward the other side of the fence.
