Startling Encounter
At first, the sight of the full-grown lion approaching slowly was mesmerizing. His heart pounded in his chest, not out of fear but out of the thrill of being so close to the king of the jungle. This was it, the raw essence of nature he had longed for, the unpredictability he had craved. He had not imagined it would be a lion, though.
