Incredulous Revelation
Stunned, Douglas watched the beast in front of him, its eyes now holding a calm curiosity. A sort of whimsical charm. The massive lion continued to purr, moving closer. It nudged him gently with its head, pushing against his chest with a strange kind of affection. Douglas, too stunned to react, just stood there, his hand instinctively reaching out to touch the lion.
