What’s there?
Flint stayed in the tunnel while Lindsey and her brother, Carl, followed above ground. They kept in touch with old walkie-talkies, and as Flint moved through the tunnel, Lindsey and her brother eventually left the house and entered the garden. Then Flint could suddenly see the light in the distance. Was it an opening that would lead outside? Or was there a lamp hanging here that had been burning for years?
