Down the basement stairs
Sarah and Mike slowly descended the basement stairs. The damp and cold air made Sarah even more nervous. Even Mike admitted that this was not where he wanted to be. But when they heard the sound reverberating inside the basement room, they knew this was where the noise came from. Mike pointed toward the back wall shakingly. “Right there,” he said.
