The Predatory Stare
Even Kofi, who had seen many great beasts in his time, was taken aback. There was no time for awe, though; they were in danger. The jeep was still a fair distance away, and between them and safety was a monstrous crocodile that looked as though it hadn’t eaten in a while. “Back to the jeep. Slowly. Don’t run,” Kofi whispered, his eyes not leaving the crocodile.
