Walking the straight line
Deep down, he knew what the right thing to do was. But, the allure of an easy fix to his problems was seductive. He had always prided himself on his integrity, his honesty. He believed in walking a straight line, in doing the right thing no matter the consequences. But never before had he been tempted to stray from that path.
