A stolen treasure
James learned that the old man was very wealthy, and that was a part of his story. He told James how his house had been broken into, his belongings stolen. The stolen goods had never been found, even after the perpetrators were caught. His heart sank as he realized this money must have been part of that stolen treasure hidden away in this random car.
