He navigated the thorny undergrowth of the dense forests and crossed the frozen lakes. He probed every nook and cranny of the surrounding area. Edward was determent, because he never wanted to see his daughter so sad again. But despite his best efforts, a month of on-and-off searching yielded no trace of the missing horse. Each day, he’d return home to the disappointed look on his daughter’s face.
