Familiar faces
As she turned a corner, Elizabeth saw an older man and woman sitting in the waiting room. They looked vaguely familiar. For a moment, her mind was distracted. Did she know these people, or was it her mind playing tricks? She shook her head. There was no time to think about them now. There were more important things to do. Then she saw the door of the doctor’s office and quickly walked past the couple.
