Small cross
Setting the canvas aside gently, Diane reached for the key that had unexpectedly fallen out earlier. As she turned it over in her hands, she noticed a small cross delicately engraved on its surface. But there was nothing else on it. The key made Diane wonder even more: what door or box did it open?
