Step forward
Judy’s mother, and the judge in charge, asked the little girl to step forward. The final thing that needed to be done before her signature could be placed at the bottom of the adoption form was to hear the little girl’s opinion. The judge started talking: “Hey Hannah, do you want to be adopted by these people?”
