Reading the note
When she was finished copying the note, she was sure it was her husband who wrote it. “What were you thinking, you silly goose,” she said softly. She thanked him for sending the kids to the backyard. Ready for one final adventure with her husband, she read the note. Not knowing where it would lead her.
