Gathering strength
Did I do it? She thought. She stood up as fast as she could and tried opening the hatch. At first, nothing seemed to be happening, but when she let go, a loud bang filled the room. The hatch did move, it was just very heavy. Dedicated to finding out what was inside, she gathered all her strength.
