Calling the police
Brian mustered up his courage and repeated his story in his head. They are going to believe him, right? He took a deep breath while the phone rang, and the voice on the other side sounded. Brian was so nervous he immediately started rambling. It interested the man on the phone, but it didn’t help for Brian’s innocence. Not much later, the officers investigate, and Brian is the first suspect.
