Bill held up a stack of cash and ran his fingers through a pile of bills. It was more money than he had ever seen in his life. The sight of it scared him. No amount this large could have been left there by accident. And the fact that it was in a sports bag made it feel even more shady. There was only one logical thing to do. “We have to call the police.”
