Destination for the money
The money would be spent on rebuilding the house to its former glory and making mortgage payments for the foreseeable future. Bill saw the potential the home had but never had the funds to rebuild it in the way he wanted it to. But now that he did, he rolled up his sleeve and got to work immediately. He was still unemployed and had nothing but time, so he paid attention to every little detail.
