Out of place
The dark oak that ordained the floor of their new home seemed to be in prime condition. It was like the previous owners only focused on that part for some reason. Why would they make such an odd decision? Bill wondered. But who were they to question such a nice feature in their otherwise barren home? The only thing wrong with the pristine hardwood was that it creak a little in certain places.
