Disappear
Brock and the mysterious individual had both disappeared around the corner of the building at that point. Caroline imagined that they fell to the floor, but she wasn’t sure about it. She couldn’t see what was happening out there, but fear still immobilized her. She didn’t know this man, maybe he was dangerous.
