Elise eventually stepped off her horse when she realized Rufus wasn’t going to let up. She didn’t understand why Rufus would behave so intensely all of a sudden. But a relaxing day at the ranch was out of the question like this. Disappointed she grabbed a hold of Rufus’s collar and headed back home.
