Victor put his hand on Elise’s shoulder to calm her down. “Maybe a nice warm bath is what you need at this point.” Elise agreed and thanked her boyfriend for those calming words. She ran a bath and stepped into the water. But during her 30-minute bath, she kept hearing Rufus bark excessively.
