Her friend put a hand on the man’s shoulder and looked at him directly. The homeless man was clearly getting upset. pushing the hand off his shoulder. After some talk, her friend seemed to succeed in de-escalating the situation. The homeless man gave up, shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
