The atmosphere in Larry’s house changed dramatically after that. The grumpy old man seemed to have disappeared, and a cooperative version of Larry arose from within him. They agreed and shook hands. Larry hoped that this time, he would not be lied to like before. Since the last time he trusted a stranger, he forgot to read the fine print and got screwed over. But after reading the contract, everything seemed fine.
