Something unexpected
Larry placed the ball on the ground again and gently kicked it, rolling it toward the boy. The boy smiled as he received the perfect pas. “You are pretty good, mister,” the kid said kindly before running off. It was nice to see the smile of an innocent child, Larry thought to himself. But what Larry did not expect was the boy’s mother. The kind-faced woman saw Larry’s interaction with her son.
