Almost instantly, after signing over the deeds to this supposed friend, things started changing. Larry saw threes disappearing on the edges of his forest and more and more people in suits driving across the land. And when Larry asked about it, the buyer kept making up excuses. He said that these men were from organizations that helped preserve land. It was how the world worked nowadays. But Larry knew better.
