Matthew did not even bother with the gun. He didn’t want his fingerprints anywhere near that thing. When getting it out of the bag, he had already touched the weapon once, and that was enough. Matthew saw enough crime documentaries to know that fingerprints on a gun could lead to an arrest, even if you didn’t even do a thing. The tape recorder, however, he did dare to toch again.
