Police arrive
Two tall, broad, uniformed men stepped out of the police car and approached Matthew, who was crying at that point. They acknowledged his presence and asked if he was alright. These comforting words were just out of politeness, though, because pretty much immediately after, they asked for the bag of evidence. Matthew asked if they knew more, and they replied by saying that they had found a lead to the car’s former owner…
