Matthew couldn’t believe it. It angered him that an officer of the law would do such a heinous thing. And he felt that it was meant to be that he was the one to eventually buy the car and reopen this case. The two cops said the bank robber’s case had run cold. “We already stored it in the filing system for unsolved cases.” But with this new discovery, it was wide open again.
