According to the lot owner, the car was initially set to go to demolition. It would go into a large crushing machine, where it would be turned into a small metal cube. But after finding out the car’s state, the lot owner couldn’t just crush it. That’s why he convinced the police to put the car up for auction and sell it for a soft price. “Well, I’m happy that you did,” Matthew said enthusiastically.
