Edgar, overwhelmed by anger and confusion, forcefully broke free from the motel owner’s tight hug. “What are you doing?” he said demanding. Her sudden behavior change was messing with his brain. It was in such sharp contrast with her earlier actions that it left him dazed momentarily. “Someone help me out here!” He shouted.
