Fresh air
It was an enormous relief to be back outside in the fresh air. Nonetheless, their bodies were still trembling from the nerves. They quickly moved further back from the submarine and carefully approached the car. It was parked a good distance away, and once they all got in, Don quickly steered it toward their company’s office across town. They hoped to find some safety and comfort, but arriving there wouldn’t be the end of it.
